If you are considering having liposuction, then you must have a lot of liposuction questions. As a patient, it is extremely important that you ask questions in order to help you choose the right liposuction procedure and the right plastic surgeon. Patients are encouraged to ask their chosen plastic surgeon their liposuction questions. Not only should the plastic surgeon have in-depth knowledge of the procedure, he or she should be able to explain it to the patient in such a manner so that they understand the answer. Realself is an amazing tool that allows patients to ask liposuction questions and any other questions they may have regarding plastic surgery. Being a Medical Advisory Board member of Realself and a Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee, Dr. Mowlavi understands the importance of asking and answering patient questions. To date, Dr. Mowlavi has answered well over 10,000 patient questions. Answering questions is a great way to understand patient concerns. This allows Dr. Mowlavi to better prepare for patients that elect to complete a consultation with him. We have collected a few of the questions that he has been asked in the past for your reading pleasure.

Liposuction would give you wonderful results, but you must find a surgeon that uses VASER high definition liposuction to really sculpt your abdomen. VASER will melt away your fat with Power X Canulas to take out the fat and provide you with a strong core. Cool Helium Plasma skin tightening is necessary to tighten your skin and give you the tight look you are looking for. With these three modalities, you will get a tight abdomen that can only be achieved with VASER. A consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon will benefit you best. Most doctors, including myself, do phone consults with photos. I highly recommend arranging for a consult with a doctor to discuss your plan!
Why do I have bumps and uneven results 3 weeks post liposuction?
Unfortunately, this is not uncommon results for traditional liposuction. Traditional liposuction that has been around for decades doesn’t allow for surgeons to completely suck out the fat. If you are a lucky one who is able to get away with a positive result after a few months, then I am so happy for you, however, the best way to fix these problems is high definition liposuction with VASER technology. VASER HD Lipo removes ALL fat after melting it into a butter-like consistency. This makes sure that the fat comes out and any minimal fat that is left behind will be flat.
Can anyone advise whether it’s possible to fix the dents in my thighs from liposuction?
This happens often with traditional liposuction and I am not at all surprised that this happened. Fortunately, there is a new type of liposuction that can fix this that only some doctors utilize because it takes a lot of training and resources. This is HD Liposuction with VASER technology. This type of lipo will completely melt your fat that is left from your previous liposuction. After it is melted, it can be taken out safely and effectively without the lumps. Learn more about it below! It would be absolutely perfect for you.
Cost of lipo to outer thighs/saddlebag
This is a great question that I’m sure many patients have. While it is difficult to be sure that what I tell you is the case without pictures, I would think that high definition liposuction with VASER technology would be best for you. So many women don’t like their lateral thighs and I often treat patients with this issue using HD lipo. It completely melts the fat and then takes it out, creating an even contour so it won’t be bumpy. The cost varies per procedure, patient body, location of office, etc. The most expensive part is taking out the fat, and putting it back somewhere (like a BBL) is the easy part. If you have questions, be sure to speak with a board certified surgeon who has experience with VASER and HD Liposuction. There are not many!
What can I do for uneven inner thigh pockets? (Photo)
This results can only be revised with Vaser HD liposuction. Vaser technology has revolutionized the liposuction revision industry. I get many cases like this in my clinic. Vaser liposuction includes emulsifying the fat cells which ensures a smooth and even dispersal. Often times, we don’t even have to remove any fat if the patient doesn’t want to. Jplasma skin tightening can also be applied during the procedure to address and loose skin. A skype consultation with a trained Vaser specialist is recommended to provide additional information.
I have stubborn fat in my abdomen area. what are my options?
Based on your photos, you are a perfect candidate for HD Vaser Liposuction. Vaser technology allows us to reach further than the superficial layer of fat that traditional liposuction is limited to. It can reach deep fat layers and remove 30-40% more fat than the traditional liposuction procedures. We can also couple this with Renuvion JPlasma skin tightening to address any loose skin throughout the procedure. I recommend a skype consultation with a trained Vaser Liposuction specialist to allow for a full body examination and to answer any follow-up questions you may have.
