About the centers
High Definition Liposuction Centers is the roster. The doctors are asked to practice, to publish, and to teach. This page is who they are as a group. Each surgeon still has a city, a practice, and a profile.
What participation requires
- 01Board-certified in plastic or cosmetic surgery.
- 02Before-and-after results that the center is willing to stand behind.
- 03Additional training in high-definition VASER liposuction.
The doctors are active in their communities and at national meetings. They present clinical work, and many chair committees in local and national chapters. Some answer patient questions on RealSelf and on this site’s Ask a Surgeon page.
They also write. Several edit peer-reviewed journals and are invited to moderate and lecture at meetings such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. The role the centers claim is clinical practice and the advancement of cosmetic surgery as a craft.
Training
Board certification in cosmetic or plastic surgery is about four to five years of specialty training after medical school. Some plastic surgeons train six to eight years when the work includes reconstruction. Cosmetic surgeons, as this page draws the line, do not take on reconstructive operations that belong in a hospital. Plastic surgeons are the ones with that extra reconstructive training. Each surgeon’s scope is still his or her own. Ask what it is.
VASER
Surgeons on this site have training in high-definition VASER liposuction beyond the board. They may use other forms of liposuction. VASER is the standard here for thorough fat removal, for fat transfer to the buttocks, breast, face, and hands, and for sculpting such as abdominal etching.
A 360 plan
360 high-definition liposuction treats the circumference, rather than selling the body by the area. It costs more. The page’s argument is that a revision costs more than doing the circumference once.
The plan is individual
No two patients need the same operation. The surgical plan is written to the person’s goal and budget. Financing is one of the options the surgeons can offer. The page’s warning is that the expensive operation is the one that has to be revised.
Traditional liposuction, as this page puts it, can leave a surface that looks uneven. The centers’ claim is that the surgeons here have moved to high-definition technique and kept current with it. The individual profiles are where a city and a name are attached to that claim.
