Personal bio

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. In more than 25 years of surgery he has been known for both cosmetic and reconstructive work.

Education and training

He decided on medicine at six. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1985, then trained in general surgery through the Ochsner Medical Foundation and in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Tulane University Medical Center.

He was certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery in 1992, in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1995, and he continued into subspecialty training and certification in cosmetic surgery. He attends meetings as both student and teacher, and he is invited to teach techniques he has developed.
