Outline your Journey

For nearly 20 years Dr. Cyr focused on spine surgery. As an orthopaedic surgeon and a Mayo Clinic–trained spine surgeon, he built a practice around complex conditions of the musculoskeletal system. That training is the basis of OrthoSculpting: fat is taken according to the anatomy under the skin, which an orthopaedic surgeon is specifically trained to see.

  • Anatomically accurate mid- and high-definition liposculpture.
  • Fellowship-trained in both orthopaedic surgery and cosmetic surgery.
  • The plan uncovers the structure that is already there.

Personal bio

He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a practice in complicated spine conditions, including repair of failed surgeries for patients who travel to see him. He is a fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

He graduated summa cum laude and as valedictorian in biology from Southwest Texas State University, then earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He served in the United States Air Force, with a transitional internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center, as a flight surgeon, and then in orthopaedic surgery residency at Wilford Hall.
