Enjoying Your Body Transformation
Although you will be enamored by your body contour improvements as early as the day after surgery, your final outcome will be appreciated at the one-month mark, once most of the swelling has resolved.
Depending on the complexity of your case, you can expect to return to nonphysical work within a few days to 10 days. Physical activity can be resumed within one week to several weeks, depending on the extent of your surgery. Patients requiring additional excisional procedures will require the longer recovery times mentioned above.
We typically advise you to avoid special occasions or vacations for six weeks following surgery so that you can fully show off your transformation. You can expect to take your first set of postoperative photographs at three months, at which time we will share your before-and-after transformation comparisons!
